"Plugged In" is how we invite you to become involved in the life of the church through Bible studies, book studies, classes, missions, ministries and social events. Plugged in opportunities currently offered are:

Bad Girls of the Bible
Bad Girls of the Bible" meets at 2:30 pm on Tuesday afternoons at First Presbyterian Church. Leader: Pastor Susan Reichenberg

My name is Pastor Susan Reichenberg and I love teaching about Jesus and the Kingdom of God and heaven. A fun fact you may not know about me is that I have a degree in Color Theory so if you have any questions about color and want my help please just ask. My degrees before seminary are all in painting and I have recently started painting again after more than 30 years of not painting. Ahhhh! Bad Girls derived its title from our first study called Bad Girls of the Bible by Liz Curtis Higgs (a favorite author of ours). People in the community heard about it and started calling us Bad Girls and the group loved it so the name just stuck. Bad Girls will resume with the book "7 Lessons from Heaven"; a true-life account by Dr. Mary Neal of Jackson Hole, WY! It's a terrific read of her actual experiences in heaven after dying on vacation. We will follow that with the second book in the delightful Mitford series by Jan Karon. The ladies LOVED the first book so look forward to the second.

D.I.G.G (Delighting in God's Grace) Adult Sunday School - Sundays at 9:00am in Fellowship Hall Leader: Pastor Susan Reichenberg

The Adult Sunday school class is at 9:00 am each Sunday morning and will begin with a curriculum, "All the Places To Go" by John Ortberg, about God opening and closing doors in our lives, followed by "Whisper" by Mark Batterson. It's how to hear the voice of God and looks to be very good. We will then go to "Crossing the Waters" by Leslie Leyland Fields, a dramatic journey through the Gospels. These studies will be fantastic, so I hope you will choose to join us at 9:00 am downstairs in the Fellowship Hall for a 45-minute class each week.

Children's Sunday School
"Children's Sunday School" at 9:00am in the downstairs classrooms. Leader: Julie Kellebrew

This year the young people continue with the second year of a 3-year adventure called "The Gospel Project”. This is an exciting look at the stories in the Bible from Genesis through Revelation. All of the curriculum is a Christ-centered, chronological study which shows the children how all Scripture gives testimony to Jesus Christ and shows the Bible not as just a collection of stories, but one unified story-God's story of redemption.

Iron Faith Mens Bible Study
"Men’s Book Study “Iron Faith” on Sunday evenings at 6:30pm at First Presbyterian Church. Leader: Craig Thompson

My name is Craig Thompson and I am excited to be leading a bible study for the great group of men of FPC. I am currently working on my college degree in Bible and Historical Studies, and love leading men in the study of Jesus. We had good conversations last year in our Men's bible study and my hope is that we can grow more in our walking and talking with God. My plan for this study time is to utilize short videos from a variety of series from Right now Media to start some great discussions. Each participant will also have their own study book. We are currently finishing up a book from our summer hiatus and will begin a great new Max Lucado book called "Anxious about Nothing"! Please join us for fellowship, honest conversations, and reaching out together to God Almighty. A fun fact about me is my love of life.

Elementary Youth Group
"Elementary Youth Group" Wednesday evenings @ 5:30 p.m. in the downstairs classrooms.

We are offering the same Sunday morning class again on Wednesday nights at 5:30 pm for those who cannot attend on Sunday mornings. This year the young people continue with the second year of a 3-year adventure called "The Gospel Project”. This is an exciting look at the stories in the Bible from Genesis through Revelation.

Jr./Sr. High Youth Group
"Jr. and Sr. High Youth Group" Wednesday evenings at 5:30pm in the annex building behind the church. Leader: Kerri Humphrey

My name is Kerri Humphrey. I started teaching the Junior/Senior High Youth Group in 2017. It was a huge step out of my comfort zone, but one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done. I have really enjoyed getting to know these young teens and connecting with them on a whole new level.Trista Crain will be joining me again this year in teaching and learning together. We are very excited for a new year. I would love to challenge each youth member to bring one new person with them. In our first class we will get to know any new faces and brainstorm what we would like to accomplish this year as far as learning and mission opportunities. We want to know your passion! A fun fact about me that not many people know is I love to ride motorcycles, four wheelers, jet skis and snow mobiles. The faster the better.
